Writing reviews is not something I usually do, but EssayEmpire left such a lasting impression that I simply cannot keep quiet. But I guess I only have myself to blame.

I am prone to making accidental, impulse purchases and this one turned out to be just that – a fluke. I wish I had the foresight to see this won’t end well, but alas, I didn’t.

I didn’t have much experience ordering from custom essay writing services, but since I had an essay on “Relativism and Absolutism” due in a short while, I had to examine my options. Since there was no way to write it myself, I ended up choosing Essay Empire and going through the ordering process. With that out of the way, I decided to give the service a more thorough look. It is only now that I realize this should have been done before I placed the order.

Appearance and Overall Impressions

This writing service offers a bunch of perks and guarantees, seemingly. Custom term papers, essays and a variety of other assignments can be written; that was their offering. However, the site already looked very average from the initial glance, and it almost became amateurish after some in-depth browsing. A single stock image is what passes for content; other than that, there are only huge walls of pointless text. As a side note, placing the order was easy.

Prices

Pricing varies depending on numerous factors. For orders which are written from scratch, it’s natural to become a bit more excessive. Just so you know, it’s normal for a custom written paper to cost that. The prices start at about $10, but they scale up dramatically depending on the writing level.

This service can write from scratch, edit and proofread, provide answers to multiple choice questions, and provide problem-solving solutions.

Support

There is an option to contact support through an on-site form. I wouldn’t say that answer times were great, but that’s what you get from such a flimsy looking service.

There is a phone number as well, but I couldn't reach it for some odd reason. Anyhow, I think it's a welcome inclusion to anyone who prefers to interact with support directly. Also, they are said not to disclose any personal information.

Writer Qualifications

Now I would really like to discuss another important thing that is somehow missing form the site. I tried to dig up some information on writers and their qualifications, and there was nothing.

Are they native speakers? What are their qualifications? How many orders have they completed?
Can they even perform research paper writing duties? What about plagiarism? How do they manage a deadline?

These are the questions that weren’t answered in any shape or form.

All of that was replaced by sample essays, which could have been pulled from some other site, for all I know.

There are custom research papers and essay examples on the main page, and some of them even were of decent quality. There was room for improvement, either way.

Resulting Paper

Now onto the main course itself, how the paper turned out to be. It was a mix of good and bad, mostly bad. The poor flow was countered by some good ideas.

I reached out to support to ask for revisions since their revision policy clearly states that customers are entitled to 3 free revisions, but the entire essay managed to get somehow worse than the first draft. I'm not sure what happened, and I don't even want to know.
Rest assured, EssayEmpire is not the website to get best custom quality papers, not even close. If that’s how they treat their first-time customers, then this site should be avoided.
